We won't be enjoying turkey in the great white north today but we will be partaking in the American tradition of watching NFL.
Well, maybe not the Giants vs Cowboys game.
Anyone watching?

Good fight by Giants today!
reply
Ho-ly shit. What a complete cock up from the bears at the end of that. 30seconds on the clock... Down to 5 before they snap it?? With a TO in hand. That's awful clock management.
Bears almost had the lions there. Credit where it's due, they played a great 2nd half, and just like you said GR, you gotta control ToP so the lions O can't start ramping it up on you.
reply
32 seconds left with a timeout and you run out the clock... Unbelievable haha, that's way worse than the time Dak Prescott ran for a first down vs 49ers and ran out the time.
reply
I remember that Dak play🤣🤣 such a bone head move.
reply
That's what I told my dad: "Geez, that's something Dak would do in the playoffs."
reply
Coach is to blame for this
reply
Definitely but Williams needs to be more aware. It’s not like he was rushed he could have snapped that ball at 11 seconds but kept trying to read the D.
reply
He’s a rookie though not like he’s a 10 year vet and made this mistake. The coach has to protect his young talent
reply
They played a good second half. Williams has so much talent and potential but he is a rookie and it shows. Some really bad decisions at the worst times.
reply
Absolutely agree. I'm starting to think Chicagos coaching is the problem. Fields goes to Pittsburgh and has been completely fine. Even if he was benched for Russ (cmon now they paid Russ to start, they were never going to sit him) and fields can only benefit from having good coaching in Pittsburgh.
Now Caleb is looking out of his depth? Red flags showing in the bears organisation and I don't think it's the talent on the team.
reply
The two games I watched of Caleb he definitely has the skills and arm to be really good in the NFL but what happened today is all coaching.
reply
Caleb made a lot of bad decisions today. Trying to take huge shots down the field into coverage on 3rd and 4th down when guys were open underneath for easy first downs. Taking sacks when he should have been able to at least throw the ball away.
He is a rookie. He flashes brilliance at times. Game savvy and decision making will improve.
reply
COWBOYS!!!
FINALLY!?!
reply
They should win today.
reply
I took the Giants on Ember. Did you know that the Cowboys are winless at home?
reply
I took all the underdogs on Ember. Why not, free sats.
reply
That’s my move too every week. Have you tried the parlay feature yet?
reply
I did some NBA parlays last night. The app is very smooth to use.
reply
I might try some parlays if any of the underdog bets come through.
reply
Yea it’s gotten noticeably better for bets recently. I think it started as a shitcoin managed fund thing. Getting the free sats from ‘mining’ is perfect for satisfying the degen need to get some action 100 sats at a time
reply
There used to be another app. I forget what it was called that you could get through ZBD that allowed you to earn sats doing crypto tutorials and making virtual portfolios to compete against others. Kind of reminds me of that but with more offerings.
I love playing with house money. For some reason, it makes parting with the sats less painful.
I haven't tried parlay yet.
reply
I know it didn't hit, but that Bears pick was actually a good call.
reply
I might take the Dolphins, but I couldn't talk myself into the Bears.
reply
I didn't think the Bears would win especially in Detroit but I figured Thursday afternoon game, who knows? Not looking good for the Bears so far.
Detroit's OLine is too good. It makes them almost impossible to stop. Bears D is good and they are just pushing them around. Honestly I think I would just rush 8 every 1st and 2nd down and make Goff beat you.
reply
Their o line is insane. It's such a huge advantage, giving time in the pocket or even just great run blocking.
reply
For like a year
reply
That's wild. I think of them as a team with a strong home field advantage.
reply
FINALLY!!
reply
The Lions will have 11 wins for the first time in history, well deserved, I must say. They are a good team. It's a far cry from the 0-16 season not that long ago. That's how you build the team. I hope the brass on my Jets are watching.
reply
Unfortunately I'm not sure the ownership cares. Salah wasn't the problem, and Joe Douglas was alright-ish outside of a few really bad decisions. (Rodgers, then bowing to Rodgers). I did hear rumours they were going to bring in Slick Rick (Rick Spielman, ex vikings GM) I have a lot of respect for that dude.
reply
Incredible job rebuilding the team. They are fun to watch as well so even if you don't like them you tend to enjoy their games.

Can I go with the Cowboys due to home advantage? I don’t think the Giants are performing well.
reply
Neither team is performing well. Cowboys should win at home despite their injuries. Probably won't be a very good game though.
reply
That was OBVIOUSLY not pass interference. Dolphins deserve a chance for a comeback!!
reply
Might have been but the Packers defender did the same thing on the 4th and goal that the Dolphins didn’t convert so call it the same. I am good with it.
reply
JUDGE @grayruby APPROVED
reply
I regret not parlaying all the favorites together. I strongly considered it, but didn't believe in the Cowboys enough.
reply
I guess you were right about the Dolphins in the cold. I didn’t think it was possible for them to play worse than the 49ers did last week in GB, but they are giving it a shot.
reply
Maybe half right, if we're being generous. I did pick them to win the game and I thought Achane would be part of a good running game.
They just showed a graphic that might be worth a mention. The best three RB's this season were all on different teams last season.
reply
Yeah. We should discuss that.
reply
Drew lock = LOL
reply
This game has lived up to all my expectations which were none.
At least it is close.
reply
Yeah it’s crazy boring. I just listened to Patrick Boyle explain what happened in the Great Depression and how FDR brought in the welfare state
reply
I'm watching Giants-Cowboys on mute since I can't stand TB yapping in his whiney voice, Burkhart is OK but Brady is unbearable..... he was a good player (as a Jets fan I hate him of course) but he is shitty play-by-play guy and shouldn't be in the booth, IMHO. Give me Romo everyday and twice on Sunday, at least Romo's mistakes are funny and he recovers nicely. Brady is a waste of space...
reply
I really liked Greg Olsen. Brady hasn't been great.
reply
I placed the "easy and unoriginal" bets, Lions/Cowboys/Packers money lines.
reply
You think the Packers going to beat the phins? Ooooo spicy take.
reply
Way late to this, but the weather already seems to be a factor on that muffed punt. Time will tell how the Miami offense performs, I'm not a big believer in the Packers defense.
reply
Good start for the Pack. I think the Packers D does a good job getting turnovers and generates a good interior pass rush. Miami's D isn't great either though so Pack should be able to just run over them all game.
reply
Packers playing aggressive and running hard. Hope that continues. Pretty happy they didn't try a FG to end the half as they fins get the ball back to start second half.
reply
Playing very well.
reply
Yes, but I need Tua to put up some points since I don't know if Purdy will be playing this week. I had to start him just in case.
reply
I could do with achane just having a rest this week and letting mostert or wright have at it. UDs fantasy predicted score is too damn high so far. I got a real uphill battle this week.
reply
You're lucky that all those drops aren't counted against Lamb. He'd be having a negative night.
reply
As long as Swift doesn't lose any yards on the ground I will hit my parlay. I have a parlay for Dolphins Packers tonight as well.
reply
I don't have the stones to do parlays or anything other than money line. I know no risk, no reward but I get too emotionally attached to NFL games haha
reply
Turd you gotta play fantasy with us next year. Emotional attachment to every game 🤣🤣 every Sunday is just pure chaos.
reply
I'm 100% in if there are spots. I bailed on one of my leagues last year so I have an opening.
reply
There will be next year for sure as we look to expand the league.
Keeps eyes on the stacker_sports for the call for players next year.
I may consider moving platforms to ESPN if we decide to stick with redraft. Lots of off-season decisions to make.
reply
I've always used Yahoo, just simply since I've been commissioner for these two leagues for over a decade. Are you using Yahoo now or Sleeper?
reply
Definitely. Would be good if we could get 10 teams next year.
reply
💯 it's been a blast so far, the more the merrier. More teams equals thinner depth and then you gotta go deep diving into the well to find those tasty matchups and streamers. That's great fun.
reply
You are having fun because you are the Lions of our league. Undisciplined is the Ravens. I am the Texans. Still Stackin is the Bengals. Hard Money is the Bears and Coinsreporter is the Raiders.
reply
🤣🤣🤣 winning does help. But also, I just enjoy it anyway, I'm 4-8 in another league and I'm still having a blast.
Coins being the raiders 🤣🤣 I don't know if I've seen the raiders with 10men on the field this season yet 🤣🤣
I use the alt player prop lines for parlays. Pays less but easier to hit. Rather hit singles than homers.
reply
Well i wanted Lions to lose, but at least my bet hit. That was some of the worst play calling/time management to end a game I've ever seen. Just wow.
reply
That was truly good awful. Fired soon I think. Chicago isn't that much of a patient fan base.
reply
That was terrible. Should have at least gone to OT.
Lions are starting to get banged up. They were probably the healthiest team in the league the first half of the season but the last few weeks they have started to mount injuries and at the same positions.
I expected their injury luck to turn.
reply
So you're saying there's a chance.... Hope you and UD keeping them 20ksats nice and warm between you for me 😜
reply
Can't believe I'm saying this... But goooooo bears!
Bear down!
🤮🤮🤮
Happy Thanksgiving.
reply
Bears are not winning this game. You can beat the Lions but you have to control the time of possession. Bears doing nothing on offense.
Vikings are one of the teams I think can match up well with Detroit. If you guys can stop the run. I think Flores can scheme up ways to pressure Goff. He crumbles under pressure.
reply
We did only lose by a FG but our defence started to fall apart a bit in that game. I think we may be able to beat them in a few weeks but I'd rather they drop one to Chicago all the same. Long shot but fingers crossed 🤣🤣
reply
You have to control the time of possession. I think the Packers can also beat them if they can run and control the run but Love puts the ball in jeopardy too much for my liking. If you lose the turnover battle against them you are screwed.
I think the Bills and Chiefs can beat them and maybe the Ravens but that would have to be a 38-35 shootout because Ravens D is not good.
reply
38-35 shootout game lions ravens would be awesome to watch.
That 4th and 3, cmon Caleb you gotta be smarter, guy was wide open over the middle at the sticks, but he went for the deep sidelines option (which should have been DPI). You gotta take what the defense gives you and they gave you a first down over the middle ya just didn't take it. Damn.
Oooo turn over! Gibbs fumble. Woah, bit of momentum here for the bears.
reply
He did that on a 3rd and 5 early in the game. He is going for a 30 yard throw into double coverage instead of taking the easy underneath throw for a first down.
reply
That's coaching really. Sure the big chunk play is nice, but if the underneath is given, take it. Keep the defence honest.
reply
Your wife doesn't honor her American heritage on Thanksgiving?
reply
Not anymore. The first couple years we did an American thanksgiving. Now just watch football. She will of course call her family in the US.
reply
Of course it will be on in the background.
reply
That lions game was way too close. Time for cowboys!!
reply
Very close game.
reply
And now this cowboys game is close 7-6!!
reply
An epic battle of juggernauts.
reply
PICK SIX BABY!!
reply
Uh oh. 4th and 1 fail. Keeping the Giants in the game.
reply
RUSH TD!!
27-10
WE DEM BOYS!!
reply
Going to be 5-7 but still a tough schedule left other than Carolina. McCarthy might be saving his job though.
Lions let’s go!!
reply
Wow what a terrible ending for the Bears.
reply
Williams needs to make better decisions than trying to feather a pass 30 yards downfield into double coverage on 3rd and 5. To have a chance beat Detroit you need to keep their offense off the field.
reply
Ben Johnson is playing video games out here.
reply
Nice job in red zone by Bears D.
