The idea that stupidity could be in our DNA is kind of scary, but honestly, I think most of it’s just taught, like you said. People grow up surrounded by bad ideas and just take them in without questioning anything. And yeah, trying to fix it by fighting it head-on never seems to work it just makes people double down on their dumb ideas. The whole 'don’t fight it, but steer people away from it' thing you mentioned? I think you’re right that most people can be re-educated, though. It’s just a massive task, and most of the world doesn’t seem to care enough to even try. Like, people don’t want to read, think, or figure out why one thing is good and another’s bad. They just go with whatever’s easiest or loudest.
when someone wants to learn, i dedicate a lot of time talking to them. i study every day, from a wide variety of subjects, sacrificing a high salary, so that others won't have to peruse thru all the material in search of high-yield knowledge.
it's a lot of hard work to realign the brain. i do want to start a consciousness stream at some point, but i am still collecting information. i don't want to get embarrassed too early, so stacker news is a good medium to bounce ideas with kind people.
inbred primary psychopathy is scary indeed, and it is surely very very rare, probably even among the dark occult overlords. otherwise they would not have to rely on blackmail in their own ranks as much.
