Yes, if the webmaster of the page you are browsing do not use the correct deeplinks like "lightning: LNURL or LNinvoice..." then none of wallet apps will detect that there's a payment request in a link.

For example, try https://chat.blixtwallet.com
When you click on the  QR code (not copy), just click it, it should popup a screen to let you choose the wallet compatible with that payment request.

Same, try with any YT video that have in description any LNURL, or LN address, you will see that Alby extension of your browser could pay directly, without even copy/paste,.

So is not about wallet app UX/UI but about webs programming.
