Oh, basically my cartilage is worn completely through. I'm 43 so way too young for a knee replacement (they only last 20 years).
Doctor is going to have me do physical therapy, but I'm not sure exactly how that's supposed to help. We will see though.

is it bone-on-bone or is there still an intervening meniscus? how do u think u ended up with no cartilage by 43yo?
