We need a way to easily deal with recurring charges for subscription providers where a lightning invoice can authorize more than one payment but on a schedule (like an ical appointment) and with an allowance range (like for utilities), then there would be no remaining use for paypal, subscribestar, ACH or credit cards. Maybe it's a function of the wallet itself instead of the lightning node.

Imo Paypal should adopt Bitcoin caus if Paypal goes bankrupt soon there is going to be a vaccuum and it will be a big oppertunity to get a CBDC rolling, assuming its ready and they are just waiting for the right moment to launch it. But i could be wrong :) I also have a vision of paypal adding bitcoin deposit and withdraw adresses and becoming super charged with bitcoin! And then they might stop caring so much what users do with the money but i may be wrong.
