Wow I have 4 cats and yes sometimes I call them like that. I thought I am just lucky (or crazy) talking with my cats, but now I see that others also are using the same technique to call their cats.

Think about that also in English we have so many pronunciations of the same word that can have different meaning.

I've tried that with my cat, and it works sometimes. She comes pretty often when I call her name or make kissing noises. Were chilling on the couch right now even.
