Interesting point. Curious if you're planning to base your picks going this route?
I'm not sure. If I were to, then I would probably take the Bucks now.
The Knicks and Thunder are the heaviest favorites, so I'd be banking on them both winning. Then, I'd pick whichever of them is the heaviest favorite in the Semi-Finals and hope the other makes the finals.
The reason I'm torn is that I'm basically trying to pick the correct full path, or at least the most likely one available to me. The problem with the path I described is that I'm not sure I would take the Knicks over the Bucks. In that case, I should leave the Bucks for that matchup.

I don't have the luxury of having the Knicks available to pick, so the decision is easier for me. Although I also think the Knicks will make it out of the east, I share your view that the Bucks do have a good chance against the Knicks. Maybe watch their next few games closely and base your picks according to their performances?
What would make it super interesting is if the Hawks beat the Knicks this round, which I think is entirely possible. It's pretty much an offensive showdown between the two, and the Hawks are never shy when it comes to making buckets.

By far the biggest wrench that could be thrown into the pool (mixed metaphor alert) is Dallas winning. We all have the Thunder available and are probably all saving them.
We also all have the Bucks available, but I don't think we're all trying to save them.

Huge wrench indeed. In that case, the ones with more picks will definitely be in a much better position. This is fun. Looking forward to next Tuesday and Wednesday.
