This has also happened to me recently. I don't think the explanation makes sense.
It looks like I made a mysterious 1 sat payment to LOOP. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. I also had this, it happened right after I updated my Lightning terminal software. It was a mystery to be also.
I also had terminal installed.
Uninstalling now.
Its a symbolic payment to acquire a L402 see https://docs.lightning.engineering/the-lightning-network/l402/l402
At some time step t, I had x sats. At timestep t+1, I had x-1 sats and a preimage. How can you call that symbolic when it is obviously a "real" payment?
I am trying to account for 1,000,000 milli msats that apparently got taken from me when I updated an app on my umbrel node. An app developed by the same team behind the implementation I am running.
This does not inspire confidence...
Symbolic payments don't use real money
That, sir, was a real payment
:O
See https://docs.lightning.engineering/the-lightning-network/l402/l402
status: succeeded amount: 1000 msats
The 1sat is a symbolic payment to acquire a L402 payment token, see https://docs.lightning.engineering/the-lightning-network/l402/l402

Wait, what is this all about?

Thanks. Read it through.
Definitely pretty complicated... and technically over my head. I use lightning every day and have been very impressed with it. Having said that I am slow to 'upgrade' to new versions for this exact reason.
