I'm not sure whether Dalio has ever come out specifically supporting bitcoin. This guy has a lot of credibility among the older investor demographic.

Dailio is a really huge name, but never outright said he supports BTC. I can understand that he does not like investing in such heavy counterparty risk areas. There are several investments that are in assets only with no liabilities (or counterparty entanglements involved with them). Bitcoins do not have a counterparty risk that I can see.

Yes. He made a similar comment a couple years ago.

"bitcoin for its stable and controlled supply."
I feel like they are missing the big picture when they say bitcoin is just this.

Definitely. But, it's a big deal when Dalio speaks positively about bitcoin, IMO.

Right, he also said it was important to look towards companies developing for the future.
"On disruptive technology, Dalio said he wants to invest in companies that are using it to improve their businesses rather than companies that are selling the most products or services."
But then he goes on to talk about how the oil countries are a good place to be.
I thought that was a bit counterintuitive.

The thing I like to base judgements on is the action rather than the words. It means a lot more. Actions speak louder than words.
