Maybe that will be next years strategy. I was listening to a 49ers podcast and they did a live mock draft. Host is like “we got OT, DE, DT, C with our first four picks” and I am thinking that’s great but no way in hell Shanahan lets that happen. He needs at least 1 WR or RB in the first 3 rounds.
Especially with the Deebo and Aiyuk situations. Not to mention hedging against guys getting shot in the post apocalyptic hellscape that SF has descended into.

Just a crazy year. One of the reasons I am hopeful for next year is you can’t possibly have another year like this and a year like this forces reevaluation and change.
We can do our 2025 hopium segment on the next pod.
