Normies is a term used by any group of people interested in a topic to refer to people that are not interested in it or only casually interested. I've heard it used in many contexts and it's generally not considered offensive
Normies is a term used by stuck up people, to speak down on other people. I never claimed it was offensive, it just makes you sound like a jerk.
