In the end I made a temporary copy of the data sheet into destination file and working from google sheets.
That may be the fastest way to go for now.
Does your wife plan to maintain both separate excels in the future? If not, it may be good to just copy the data from the no longer needed Excel into the new one, to keep all the data in one place (assuming the two files are meant to track the same kind of data)

Nah this is just a massive migration data for work. Once the data is already copied in the new format, will be imported in some other database app. Now was just a formatting by specific columns and there were like over 10k lines to verify at hand, pure madness. That's why she asked me for help to make such formula.
Thanks, you help her and saved a lot of work and possible mistakes by manipulating manually the data. Will give you more sats, you deserve them.

As long as my wife doesn't bother me with her crap excels I can concentrate more on finishing my BTC guides and help more people with solving BTC issues. I have quite some people asking me questions about BTC all days long.
So you saved me time looking for that formula and now wife is happy and letting me in peace 😂😂😂
Sats were well spend.
