I am using ocean also because it seems like the best pool for decentralized Bitcoin. Have been for months and I can say that they do end up paying more with patience. You may need to set up lightning if your hash rate is pretty small. It will take a long time to reach the limit for a deposit into your on chain account. What is your hashrate? I am running 480 THs for 10 hours a day and it still takes months to get an on chain payout. I haven't set up lightning yet.

I wondered about that, but I didn't see anything about there being a payout threshold while I was setting it up.
I probably should set up lightning payments, then, since my hashrate is much less than yours.

I am not sure how it works exactly. I just know it takes me a while. Mine would be a lot quicker if I was running 24/7 like I am sure you are. I am subject to sunlight and batteries.

I might drop down to 20 hours a day, because we have peak electricity pricing and it's several times as expensive for a few hours during the day.

How much work do power do those miners draw. I never looked into them?

It's right around 1 TH/s and 17 J/TH.

Nice. That seems pretty efficient and it's enough to make some sats I would think. I guess lightning uses bolt12 on ocean. I haven't wanted to figure it out yet.

That's right and I also didn't want to figure it out.
