It is Syrup Prep Day!

Today was kitchen time! I was running low or even out of syrups, so I used the day to restock my fridge!
Tool-Tip: Using a magnetic stirrer makes life so much easier! You can work two syrups at the same time!
Homemade grenadine is so underused!
Grab a pomegranate and some rose water and make your own syrup.
The result of the day:
Note: The only syrup missing is the banana syrup, it still needs to infuse. Also, while we were making all the syrups, we had some Bee's Knee's, so we basically ran out of honeysyrup in the process.
Great stuff!! Homemade stuff like syrups are so much tastier and better than any thing produced for sale in grocery stores. I like to make my own yogurt and natto. I know how to pronounce every ingredient!! :)

Homemade is the best! But it is hard to find all the ingredients for some things. So I understand when people buy off the shelf. It is also a factor of time and knowledge!
Unfortunately I still cannot make my own orgeat which annoys me a lot! I just miss a few ingredients. The cost benefits are nowhere near enough to get those missing ingredients.

What is orgeat? Haven’t heard of it before.

Great work what are you using these for?

Honey syrup for Bee's Knee's for example (#805319), or in the Gold Rush or Penecilin.
Grenadine I used in the Pan American Clipper (#812001), but is also used in real classics like the Pink Lady, the Jack Rose or the Hurricane.
Demerara is one of the most commonly used syrups, especially in tropical cocktails. I have already used it in the El Draque (#814882) and the American Trilogy (#807105).
The Coconut Cream I used in the Tradewinds (#808272), but is most famous for the Pina Colada, I would say.
The cinnamon syrup for an upcoming cocktail jet! So keep your eyes open!
