Cocktail of the day: Tradewinds 1970s

If the wind is right, you can sail away and find tranquility with this Jamaican drink!
Ingredients: 1 oz blended lightly rum 1 oz black blended rum 1 oz apricot liquer 1 oz fresh lemon juice 1 1/2 oz coconut cream 3-4 drops saline solution
Instructions: Add all the ingredients to a drink mixer tin and fill with 12 oz of crushed ice and add an "agitator" cube. Flash blend and open pour into a highball glass. Add garnish as you like.
Note: I take the liberty of swapping the black belnded rum for the Plantation Original Dark Pinapple to get a bit of funk.
Other Cocktails: #807105 American Trilogy #805319 Bee's Knee's #803714 Cable Car #802459 Lady Jane #800699 The Rum Rhapsody #799722 The Bourbon Scotch Renewal
I love all these names. I don't have bar nearby but we make our own style cocktails sometimes. Now I'll try them, especially this rum one because it's winter time. Thank you.

You are most welcome! Winter tikis are the best! They remind us of summer on the beach and Hawaiian shirts.

The coconut probably makes this such a refreshing drink

More on the sweet side than refreshing, to be honest. That's what the lemon is for.

Black rum is exquisite, have you tried it in other combinations with other cocktails 🍸🍹?
reply
Yes, I have! If I remember, I'll show you my favourite black rum cocktail in the next few days!
