I'm glad that's your situation (No need for SATS because you already have them) but I thought about it in terms of budget. 
ehem if before you had 100k SATS to make *500* posts paying *200* SATS for each one, now you can make double with the same budget.

Econ Posting Fee Reduced by Half

I think the decision to cut it in half is a very good one. 
This will allow those who already produce quality content, such as @Tomk and @denlillaapan, which I usually enjoy a lot, to now bring more good content to continue learning.
