He is clinging to power, and is running out of options. The current government, and to an extent the last one that fell apart after a three months, are filled with dinosaurs brought back to live from extinction. They do not reflect the results of the recent elections. Macron will say anything, blame the opposition, the voters, and just not to admit fault.

Bad things just dont disappear if you bury your head in the sand? They have known of all these issues for a long time, but havent gotten anywhere with cutting costs. "Euro zone’s second-largest economy" I didnt realize France was the second largest, it must really be hurting Germany to prop them up so much.
