These guys are fast, but not greyhound fast. I used to go to a dog track once in a while with friends who lived in Massachusetts. Retired racing greyhound adoption was and probably still is a big thing. They make good pets, and surprisingly don't mind just becoming couch potatoes.

Recently l have noticed people getting larger dogs. Especially huskies. Some kind of trend, or maybe it is based on my location?

Maybe it's your location. It seems to me that smaller dogs are getting more popular around here. I have big dog bias, though I have owned many little dogs.

It could be, l live in a colder state. People tend to get them and not realize how much attention they need.
