I do not intend to make a review of this documentary released on Youtube on January 3, 2025, 16 years of Bitcoin, rather I want to put what I feel and share it with you. I don't know if there is any other publication on this topic, but here is mine.

The documentary premiered in January 2025 but the interviews that appear were conducted in 2021. According to Darvin Otero himself, one of the interviewees, on his X account he expressed that the documentary captures an era in the history of money and Bitcoin, during the months when Bitcoin became legal tender, along with the first edition of the AdoptingBTC conference and Bitconf2021, all in El Salvador

Four years after those interviews were made, I see that the testimonies collected there are just as valid, even that it's good that 4 years have passed, history has proven the Bitcoin apostles right and people can notice that this is the case today. The detractors interviewed, if they are sincere people, will recognize that they were wrong, but if they are not, that is their problem because Bitcoin has shown that its intrinsic value only grows over time.

I've only been down the rabbit hole for a short time, I arrived, not late, after others, but this documentary has shown me what Bitcoin looked like 3 to 4 years ago and that is valuable to me.

I can only thank everyone who made this excellent work possible, for me more than a documentary, it can become a key that opens doors to adoption. During the time I've been down the rabbit hole I've learned a lot and I always recommend to those who want to learn about Bitcoin that the first thing to do is to read the Bitcoin White Paper and then a long list of very good articles and videos. Today my recommendation would be: the Bitcoin White Paper, second Bitcoin Revolution: A New Paradigm, third all the good books, guides and videos made by so many good bitcoiners.
