The reason I say the right doesn't get it is because they seem to focus more on elections and getting the "right" people in "power" than they do on culture.
I'd also add that politics does influence culture. I just don't think you can say it is the source. Both culture and politics influence each other.
I agree that culture and politics both influence each other. And it's really tricky to define how a culture is shaped and what influences it.

Culture affects children ie people who are not eligible to vote but already have opinions on abortion and guns and transgender craziness

On the other hand take a woke private school like Crossroads. The teachers and faculty order the children how to vote, who to vote for, who to demonize and hate. One reason the left succeeds beyond their numbers is they think about leftism 24/7. No days off
