This one's look similar to Tibetan Mastiff. We definitely have them in the regions of middle and upper Himalyas. I just remember they call them "Bhotiya" there in local language.
I just saw that they are also called Himalyan Sheepdog.

Yes, I think they are closely related genetically. I am pretty sure they are all molosser type dogs. Big boned guardians.

Considering caucasian region is connected through land to Himalyas, Mastifs are the guardians of many breed here.
They say Mastiffs are the dogs that have the least vulnerability to diseases among all breeds for they are the only remaining original descent of Wolfs. All other breeds are just a mix.
