RIP JM. He had some interesting ideas. His take on attacks against encryption, while ultimately possible (eg: attacker can see pre-encryption text via a client side attack), has some large cost. Very few are worth wasting 0day.
Encryption works. To argue it is a waste of time is security nihilism. It absolutely is not a waste of time. I am suggesting that folks drop the snake oil encryption, and go for something strong.
One can try to stop using a government, but governments will never stop using you.
It's simple: stop feeding the beast (gov/banks). Use only bitcoin as day to day money. In the end they will die or be obsolete.

I support your vision of the future Darth.
What do you make of governments stashing Bitcoin, as a last ditch effort to save the State? Will National Strategic Reserves change this calculus?
