This is a weird question because aren't deciding to create CCs. They are only created when sats can't be used, because zappers and zappees have insufficient lightning setups, or when someone buys them. 1 CC costs 1 sat to create in either situation. And, the half-life of 1 CC is less than two zaps. Meaning every time one CC is zapped, 30% of it ends up in rewards where it'll be paid out as 30% of one sat. After two zaps, that CC is half a CC and the other half is half a sat in the rewards pool. Also, every time a CC is spent on posts/comments/boost/poll voting too, 100% of it ends up as a sat in rewards (hence a half-life "less than" two zaps). So, as lightning setups improve, the amount of CCs in "circulation" will trend to zero because they are constantly being turned into sats through rewards and they won't need to be spontaneously created anymore.

If CCs are upsetting you, and you haven't had the time to read the threads about them and still think we're "printing" them and "putting them in circulation" or something, it might be worth taking a break from SN until we've done the work required to prevent this confusion.
