I've noticed people making that mistake too. If you create a link out of it like [@jack](https://twitter.com/jack) it works as expected. The markdown for this looks like this:

What's the best way to quote text that has @Twitter usernames without that creating a link for that handle on SN?

E.g., 

$SQ @blocks, with @jack at the helm, continues to lead the way for bitcoin adoption in the mobile payments sector with its integration of #Bitcoin Lightning Network into @CashApp.

Of course, those are Twitter usernames and not SN users.

I found I could use Code for that, but that's probably best used only for actual code.
