A warm greeting to all my friends in this lovely community, I'm back with my first street photography post of 2025, and this time it's all about people, a favorite subject for many street photographers.
I'll start with these two photos because they both share the common theme of a man touching his wife. I feel like they both did it in the same way and it means the same thing to them, even though they are completely different people.
The next photo I took because I saw a motorcyclist carrying some vegetables, but what amused me was that the truck behind is one of the many that distribute vegetables throughout the city.
Several people in one photo with a church in the urban background.
The hand of a taxi driver.
An elderly woman opening her house gate.
I took the next photo because the man was quite old and yet he was riding his motorcycle with the coolest style in the world!
mother's embrace.
The next person was carrying food to his home.
I took the next photo because I've seen the same lady there several times. Honestly, her house looks very beautiful and cozy.
I enjoy photographing people because each one tells a different story worth documenting.
I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I did!
What is your opinion on black & white vs color photos?
These look good but I can't help but wonder what the real-life colors are...

Not OP here but I love black & white for night time photos. First reason: Color photos are hard to nail at night to color balance especially with multiple light sources of differing white balance. Second reason: ISO noise looks awesome in b&w especially with shallow depth of field
