From the outside looking in I think have a much longer off-season is going to be huge for yall to heal up. I look at it from a baseball perspective of the Astros made all of the deep runs over and over and more and more guys started to get hurt. We got bounced early last year and now guys can finally rest and recover.
I like the Kubiak move but I have always like the family. They seem to always deliver on the offensive side of things.
I think drafting a RB will also be huge for yall. Even if CMC comes back 110% healthy having a solid guy to spell him will be critical. Since really good RB can be nabbed in the 3 or 4 round even you can grab one later on and address an OL or DT position like you discussed. A pretty solid take in the 2nd round if he falls that far for yall would be Shemar Stewart DT/DE from Texas A&M. He was easily our second-best D lineman and the top one Nic Scourton will likely go in the first towards the middle/end.
I do think they will draft a RB but hopefully in the later rounds. They have Mason, Mitchell and Guerrendo to back up CMC. Unfortunately, all 4 of them got hurt a different points this year.
I think they will go OLine in the first round if Banks or Campbell are available. The draft is pretty deep with Edges so I don't think they will go Edge first round unless one of the top 3 guys falls to them. DT is also a good option for the first round. If there are a few guys at positions of need I could see them trading back a few spots to get more draft capital and then maybe using it to trade up later in the draft.
