Do you consciously alternate between jiu jitsu and tai chi to give your body the recovery time it needs? How many days for each?
Yeah exactly. I usually need a couple days to recover after a tough jiu jitsu session. It’s more catabolic so I need the recovery time. In the future when I’m fitter I’m hoping to train perhaps 3 times a week in jiu jitsu and the other days tai chi with 1 rest day.
