pull down to refresh

I work 100% remote and run over lunch most days. I have two young boys and am very involved in their life’s and lead/coach many of their activities (soccer, Cub Scouts). I have run outside everyday for the past 5 years (minimum 5k). Though minor injuries, sickness, COVID, you name it.
There are 168 hours in a week for all of us. If something is important to you, you find a way, if not you find an excuse. This means assessing where you spend all of this time. Getting outside, exercising, and being my best self is a non negotiable. My boys see this and are aware of this.
By being aware you children will usually embrace a healthy lifestyle as well. Health is the ultimate wealth. Don’t compromise. All the money in the world can’t fix health issues. Increase your odds.
How to get creative. Safely have a treadmill, elliptical, bike by your kids inside. Maybe when they have screen time zap your don’t miss anything. I do push-ups and planks like this to fit it in and they see it and often join in.
I also run to the grocery store, post office, pay bills, etc.
Get creative and have a limitless mindset. Good luck!
