I do miss some of the older posters, they had interesting perspectives.
Just couldnt make the economics and time work, l guess.
That's exactly it. Life comes up and Stacker News won't always find a role in people's routines (hard as that may be for me to fathom).

I think there's also some burn out. There aren't that many different people here, so maybe someone just never finds a sufficient group that they click with.
I'm fascinated by the question of "What separates stackers from non-stackers?"

I think everyone burns out after a while.
Its just a matter of when.
I have noticed I talk to the same people, but there are the few that come along that are worth talking to here.
The question could be asked, "What separates the holders from the non holders?"
Just life experiences and situation?

There's just enough new blood and topics I find perpetually interesting to stick around.
I've noticed that I'm talking to a new set of people, now that ~HealthAndFitness is up.
