I think you nailed it. He's exactly the QB the Raiders needed this year (AOC with wheels), but who knows what the next regime will be looking for.
The Raiders definitely have the money to throw at him, plus an upgrade at TE for him to throw to.
Younger TE to play longer with. Let's go with that.
reply
I'm just suggesting he might want to throw to a 1st Team All-Pro TE.
reply
I think he would prefer to throw to a 2 time and 1 time robbed All Pro TE.
reply
Yes, thanks for saving me from stating this.
reply
Normally I would let him have a win because lord knows his Raiders don't give him many but not at the expense of Kittle. That is a bridge too far.

I love Kittle. He's been one of my favorite players in the NFL for a long time.
The second best TE in the league definitely deserves more love.

Are you watching the Cavs and Thunder? Unfortunately I can't get it. Looks like the Thunder started hot.
Thankfully, it's not up to you whether or not I get this win.

That is quite a nice poster. You should buy that and hang it up in your office.

You guys are so entertaining lol

We are highly productive individuals. Haha

I mean, he'll have the opportunity to throw to a two time All Pro in Vegas, since he's not going on into free agency this year.
reply
Maybe. Everyone thought LaPorta was the next big thing after last season too.
reply
Oh, I missed the part where he broke all the records, while playing in a terrible scheme with backup QB's and no running game.
reply
I didn't say LaPorta was better but he was in All Pro discussions last year and was widely anointed the next one and this year he definitely took a step back. Not saying the same will happen to Bowers but it isn't out of the realm of possibility.
reply
I was disappointed in LaPorta this year. He was unstoppable at times last season and it was very entertaining.
Something that is very possible is the Raiders putting together an even more appalling offense around Brock and completely biffing the OC hire.
