“You’ve achieved 40 seconds of uninterrupted focus.”
Apparently, this is cause for celebration. For the past 10 minutes, I have been staring at my phone, trying to move a digital ball up a hill using nothing but the power of my mind. The Mendi headset I am wearing is analysing my brain activity and reflecting that back into the game. The more I concentrate, the higher the ball climbs.
This exercise is supposedly working out my mental muscle, just as one might use weights to train physical muscle, ultimately improving my focus and reducing my stress.
Very interesting article about the wearables that claim to improve our mental health.
What do you think of the future of such wearables?
Did you ever use one such focus boosting stress reducing wearable?
Isn't it a bit creepy how much technology can read us by now?

Yes, it's definitely creepy. I don't know why people are allowing such things to take over. The creepiness in fact is more than the benifits these wearables can provide.
I'm in yoga for a long time and I don't think a focus increasing wearable can be as effective as mediation.

Same for smart-watches or fitness tracker. I don't see the benefit of them. Everyone is free to do what he wants. But that's just not my cup of tea.

I feel that if my mental health is good, I won’t need these devices. If my mental health is waning, then I need something more than a tracking device - possibly therapy
