I was wondering about this scenario: suppose a big spaceship landed and the leader alien came out asking you, "Take me to your leader." But I wonder, who would you take them to? The President of the United States? Major corporation CEOs? Scientists? Or would you take them to your country's leaders?

I would tell them this planet is divided by borders and has different leaders with different types of rule, but we all have a group where we collaborate on most matters successfully—it's called the United Nations, so you can speak to all of them at once.

But what would you do? Who do you consider your leader? If you do not think that you have a leader, what would you say?
