A little more clarity. California does suck when it comes to gun restrictions. And yet, there is a massive number of gun owners and CCW holders. More important than the state rules are the county or city you live in. The rule vary wildly and in rural areas there is much more gun adoption and liberty. This is pretty common across the country but you don't usually hear this detail. Much easier to dunk on California and ignore your own back yard.
