I was reading about sports world records and found that it's true that most records are set evening or late evening time.
Usain Bolt smashed the 100-metre sprint record at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics in Berlin in a floodlit stadium under an inky night sky.
This was no coincidence: when it comes to sporting prowess, timing matters. For activities relying on sheer muscle power and endurance, evening or late afternoon are when most world records have been set, probably due to assistance from peaks in the daily rhythms of a number of the body’s key physiological outputs. But what about everyday exercisers? Is there an optimal time of day to get the most out of workouts?
When you will do it!

When you feel the urge! That's the best way.

I found a couple of research articles (didn't keep the references, though) about that topic, but centered about clinical patients (can't remember what they had, exactly). They concluded that patients showed significant but moderate more benefits when exercising latter in the day compared to the morning. I remember I thought "of course they do because the evening is the hardest moment to exercise!". (Well, at least for me it is. :-)

For me it's been evening since always. The reason is simply that I don't get up too early. If I do sometimes, I don't feel like putting my body to work. In the evenings my body itself becomes more active to go for a workout, I mean I don't feel reluctant in the evening. I think this may be one case with so many people.

In the morning. Wake up at 5-6 am, put on your gym clothes, and move that body.
No excuses, everyone can do this.
Of course, at first it is hard, and your mind creates a lot of reasons for not doing it.
After your morning exercise, a cold shower and you are ready to take breakfast and start your day as usual.
After a few weeks doing it, during the day, you'll feel that you can focus better, and also learn faster. And, at night, you'll feel with a lot of energy contrary of what you might think.
I've been doing this for a month now, and I've lost all the fat, starting to see my muscles getting harder. I don't care bout my weight. Also, I can do more things during the day, so I really feel that I did something useful each day.

For me, without a doubt, in the mornings, is when you usually have the most energy, as long as you have time to do it in the morning.
