Haven't posted one of these in a couple months.
Came across this live performance of the Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits. Mark Knopfler is unreal. Enjoy!

This is one of my favorite songs.
What? You actually listen to music?
No, but I have.
Intentionally?
In this case, sort of. My grandpa left a Dire Straights tape in the car he sold me.
I did used to be on the radio remember. I've listened to music intentionally and even made others listen to it, too.
That's impressive. I don't know that I ever owned a car with a cassette tape player. Definitely my parents car that I drove as a teen after getting my license had a cassette player but pretty sure the first car I bought had a CD player only. Maybe both. Hard to remember.
My first car had an 8 track!
I'm so old I think of Dire Straits as a new band.
I think Americans buy their first car much younger than Canadians. It isn't really a rite of passage to buy your own car here. Some rich kids get gifted cars but mostly kids just use their parents cars until they move out or finish school and have a full time job. It is also not that common for people to go away to college especially if they live in or near large metros.
Yikes, that is back in the day.
😱😱 kids these days. Fairly sure my first ever car has a cassette player.
You were just much cooler than me riding around in your own car while I was driving my mom's car. Haha.
This conversation is cracking me up
We may have gotten a bit off track. Just trying to generate from revenue for @Public_N_M_E
Same.

@TomK, there's your man, wailing away!
Great song
I don't know how he plays lead and sings at the same time.
Saw him at least 25x live. Crazy experience
Only a few guys could do that well. Clapton had his moments with Cream, Hendrix, Jerry Garcia. Not many.
Oooooh thank You. A hell of a version indeed

I really like the guitar solo at 2:20 minutes!

Love this song, and man that's a great live performance.
Here's a metal cover of it that I enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0RV0kgdqJU
That's great and I even liked the little hip hop track at the end that promoted the female artist and his patreon etc.
I really like when artists take classic songs and make them heavier.
Incredible guitarist. One of my favourites. He just makes it look so effortless.
