That looks nice. Was it at the distillery? Tasting notes?
I just saw the other day Bob Dylan has a Tennessee Whiskey (may be a bourbon tho).... you reminded me to pick up a bottle.

Where ever you are from, do they have a liquor store that stocks from all over the world, or just from your area?
reply
hahaha yeah pretty much not.
reply
Does your area have its own specialty?
reply
hm... I'm not sure. Plenty of gin (freakin Brits!) which I don't like, and the Scandis are big fans of vodka/schnaps, which I find pretty dull
reply
Nothing that is specifically known in Scandanavia?

the craft beer scene is insane. But again, don't like.
The 3 Swedish whiskey distilleries I know of are interesting and do goo work, but they pale compared to the Scottish legends
reply
Craft beer scene exploded in my area, too. Maybe the Swedish whiskeys just need more time, look at japan. They did well after all these years, finding their own flavor.
Come to Tennessee!

delish!

This is where all the photography sats go. hahaha Was this in one of the many boxes you brought back home?
reply
Passed through Chattanooga today.

More snow and flipped over cars?
reply
Not today. Snow started falling in the eastern mountains.

I noticed it is a limited edition bottle. Can you taste the difference between that bottle and others of the same age range?
reply
Absolutely. There are differences from barrel to barrel. You see the proof on that bottle? A bottle from another barrel will have differences in proof and other characteristics.
