I prefer less spam / noise but important news. If is a good "news" it will be published on SN. If is not on SN,. it means is not important. rsync was posting 99% meaningless and sometimes even garbage links.
I don't have much of an idea about what's going on in bitcoin and I suspect many of you don't either
From noise you will never know more, but you will fill your time with garbage.
The "good news" tends to be overreported, retweeted for days on X, by the time it ends up here is one of the problems I've noticed.
Stackers aren't determining what's newsworthy often enough themselves. They're waiting for all of bitcoin's influencers to tell them what's worth paying attention to. At least if all the noise is posted here, the sats eventually filter it out.

I am subscribed / read many other Bitcoin sources but I do not post them without reading just for the sake of posting links. For example I get many github releases but 99% of the time are just meaningless updates that is not necessary to share on SN. Indeed if there's a big release of changes in bitcoin app and worth share it I will do it.
Bitcoin Optech is the most important source if you are interested in the tech level updates. So if you are subscribed to that, you get it anyways. Is an important info in the Optech newsletter? OK, then we share it here.
Many other sources are just repeating the same shit about price and twitter drama... that is not important.
And sats will never select the noise from signal. Spammers will make noise anyways because THEY ARE PAID TO DO THAT NOISE. And other losers are repeating that noise thinking that can grab some sats.
Is kind of chicken and egg problem.
