If you're wondering why, I learned a new word today. One of my friends has come up with a very fresh answer. He said "Life is POLYSEMY."
Polysemy is characterized as the phenomenon whereby a single word form is associated with two or several related senses.
Does this make any sense? πŸ€” This is question into a question. But such is life isn't it. It can have many variables leading to many one word substitutions, or maybe not!! So, here I'm asking you...
What is LIFE in one word?
Surprise. Either positive OR negative
reply
Are you surprised by your life?
reply
I am. Because in true sense life is like a gift, wrapped and unopened until it is opened. In life, every moment, whether happy or sad, comes uninvited but undeniable. Aren't you surprised by yours?

(Wonderful) Variability.
Sorry, couldn't resist to add the adjective, since the explosion of forms life expreses itself is truly that... wonderful. And, of course, it comes to my mind the great quote from Lorna Wing, "Nature never draws a line without smudging it."

So true!!

"Coddiwomple."
It’s about embracing the beautiful chaos and wandering toward our dreams wherever they may take us.

What!! Do you want me to have a dictionary ready all day? πŸ˜‰

Pain.
We all suffer to lesser or greater degrees. I think how we manage that, and what lessons we learn from it is what makes us who we are.
I'd go so far as to argue that it's a large component in what drives evolution.

It's also very new. I never thought like it. I'd say lif is bliss but not pain. However your definition of pain makes sense.

Haha! I'm not a miserable person I swear! I just think pain is a very defining part of life, and especially the human existence.
