I wish my Stacker News homepage gave more signal. Currently it's quite a lot of misses. Many opinions or topics I'm not interested in.
Is there anything useful I could provide that would help here? Like from the homepage list the items that I don't find useful (for me)?

Personalization options are:
  • zap things you like
  • downzap things you don't like
  • mute stackers you don't like
  • mute territories you don't like
Feeds aren't very personalized currently. The most powerful personalization tool is muting.

Cool, muting territories is useful! I did not realize that's possible. That definitely helped my homepage.

Is there any spot in settings that shows my muted territories?
reply
If you click on the dropdown, they're at the bottom in their own section.

Oh I see. Maybe putting it next to the muted users in the settings would work too? I now have 17 blocked territories.

That'd be more consistent for sure.

complete sidenote: I was interested in how many territories there are now and the easiest way I could think doing that was this :D (I know it includes couple more items...)

lol yeah we were just discussing how lacking our territory stats were with founders yesterday
Maybe something like configuring our own SN dashboard with frames for each territory we are interested in?
I want to see on my SN dashboard:
  • only top 10 items from each territory I subscribed and choose to be on the dashboard.
  • only few important territories on the dashboard
