Long term I actually think its a good thing, even for Bitcoin...
Why? At least for a few years now it will be much harder for any powers that should not be to go after tiny fish, with a sitting president doing this.
Will it hurt the fiat value of Bitcoin? Who knows, maybe that will happen short term, then it flips once the whole memecoin bubble bursts?
Chaos is better than totalitarian control, that is for sure...
It is hard to say whether it will harm or help BTC. I think even getting people involved in shitcoins gets them involved in the whole arena. When they find that their shitcoins are pretty worthless, what do you think they will do? I hope they go to BTC, but there is a steep learning curve to get them to the self-custody point.

All we can do is to keep fighting, not deluding ourselves and dealing with whatever appears, good, bad and certainly the ugly!

Kathmandu is an interesting place, especially dal bot. Did you get to Pokhara? That is a nice place to take some rest after the business of Kathmandu. The bus ride through the mountains was best taken at night though, it was a real hair-raiser during the day.

Nope, I stayed very close to Boudhanath all the time, except for a very special hike to Nagi Gompa!
