No, that's not what I'm saying. You can certainly sustain losses, through random bad luck, but you won't go to zero.
We're playing the law of large numbers with RBOA and making three (or more) bets per event, rather than just one (or two as you suggest). That means RBOA will converge to the expected rate of return faster. That expected rate of return is the same under all strategies, but more volatile under other approaches.
I'm going with my strategy this time. Let's see how much I win. We can then have a real comparison.

Not really, since my strategy is about long term consistent returns.
If you want to do a modified RBOA, going forward, I'd be interested to compare average returns.
