I think it’s good because visa and Mastercard have become a duopoly. Bad because stablecoins can be turned off quickly which is scary to think your money can be turned off at any time

Like they do with our bank accounts. I think if tether switches to using cashu and you get more privacy on your overall balances and spends the it would be a massive boost to the overall bitcoin economy.
But one thing I do like about tether is that you can stop criminals and do fact finding investigations to bring criminals to justice
