Personally, I think it's something we should all read.
What do you think?

In college days, the social crowd seemed to break into the stoners vs the drinkers. I tended to side with the drinkers because I liked going out and meeting girls, etc.
The stoners, seemed to always gravitate to staying inside someones dorm room, playing nintendo and arguing about who's turn it was to go get the next pizza.
While fun in small doses, I much preferred the antics the drinkers got up to....
However, being completely fair, its probably true that cannabis is a much safer drug overall

My hypothesis is that different personality types have different vices

Agreed. I've thought the same.
I sorta feel "introspective enough" and thats ultimately why I stopped cannabis use in college, I didn't need/like the feeling of being hyperaware of every single thing someone said, and trying to parse the exact meaning of each stressed syllable.

I also think the same about
"cannabis is a much safer drug in general."
However, I also stay on the side of the drinkers..
I am from a tropical country and I confess that I love to drink Whiskey πŸ₯ƒ with Coconut water.. πŸ₯₯
It's great..

Did not take me long to realize that in the early nineties...
I do use microdosing these days for sleep though, 1 gram in coconut oil can last for months!

A friend of mine recently mentioned he is using some type of CDB oil gummy that helps him sleep....says he feels no real psychoactive effects other than a vague relaxation / drowsiness feeling.
Any experience with that?
I would probably occasionally something like that for sleeping, but not really interested in "feeling high".
reply
No, but I guess it might be the same if the dosage is really low?
Also I will never use it more than maybe a week in one go, no dependency is ever good really...

Yeah, I wouldnt use it too often either. Probably just sporadically to help with sleep as needed (I never take anything now).

Good plan! I ended up in orbit outside of Saturn once when I got too much, that was kinda a bit of a shock...
These days its clear that it was simply remote viewing hehe

THC β‰  CBD
reply
Sure. For me CBD worked, but it is expensive, and simply using the whole plant as is works better for me. Its probably a very individual thing!
reply
From what I've seen so far here in Europe, weed with THC or CBD is about the same price.

Heavy cannabis use as well as recent cannabis use was associated with lower levels of brain activation during a commonly used working memory task. During the other tests, covering reward mechanisms, emotions, language skills, and motor skills, there was no substantial difference.
Really interesting how specific these results are. As a former cannabis user, it would seriously impair my programming abilities, which demands an abnormal amount of working memory. I've held a hypothesis for some time that one's effectiveness as a programmer is probably directly proportional to working memory capacity/performance, so this is sad to see from that perspective.

Your answer is very interesting! Thank you for sharing itπŸ‘Œ

I always felt like smoking weed always diminished a persons ambition. Hence the reason why I stayed away.

Excellent post, friend @Akg10s3. From what little I know, cannabis has been used in different fields, especially in medicine. It is very curious how cannabis affects each individual in a different way.
