I disagree.
Without participation- voluntary participation Bitcoin has no value and no future.
Bitcoin is a monetary system built upon voluntary participation and thus is based upon that community of voluntary participants.
Without that community of voluntary participants Bitcoin is just maths, unused maths of no value.

A group of individuals using a common protocol is however by definition a community.
Don't let Libertarian sovereign individual dogma tarnish the idea of humans working together.
Humans alone are weak and vulnerable- most human progress and wealth creation is based upon communities of humans working together.

It is primarily through working together in groups/communities that humans achieve wealth, power and security.
Libertarians might see communities as negative but they are fundamental to wealth creation and economic strength.
These are not semantic but demonstrable realities.
