Yes, you can never have a day off. 
But their paycheck comes every two days because the bulk tank fills by that point. 
Having it fresh right after it had cooled is amazing. 
I wish more people would try it and not be afraid of raw milk. 

My grandfather had dairy cattle too. I don't remember ever having milk fresh from a cow, I think i was pretty young when he switched to having just beef cattle. Dairy is a lot of work and he did it for most of his life.

I have fond memories about a dairy farm l used to work at.
Especially when the farmer handed me a mug of fresh milk, it was so tasty.
