I've learned that I know way less than i thought I did. Apparently I'm the type of guy that believes a lot of stuff at face value, so I've had to relearn a lot of things. It's definitely made me a lot more skeptical in general.
That is such a great thing to learn about yourself. I learn more and more each year and it makes me realize how much I don't know. Being comfortable with "I don't know" is a growth area for many of us. Humility is in short supply. Its why the saying "Stay humble, stack sats" is something I repeat. Like @ODELL I repeat it for myself.
I'm no dummy and I'm very curious and skeptical. Arrogance can creep in and its a weakness not a virtue. Its one that my younger self had in more supply. Sounds like you are on a good path intellectually. Stay curious, stay humble, and strive for self improvement.
There is always something to learn. Even from idiots. There are lessons we can all learn if we are willing to learn.

Can confirm. I've taught several people things before.

Same here. We all are idiots or have been at some point.

Ha! Well one thing is we didn't have so much proof of the stupidity or our fellow men :)
But the access to knowledge and info is amazing. It has positive and negative tradeoffs. We have a lot of evolving to do though. Great time to be alive. I reject doomerism.

Yea, I try to stay away from the doomer stuff too
