Agree with most of the opinion expressed but what is not mentioned is the context - that USA is now at war both in economic terms and by proxy (Russia and Iran) militarily, with China.
Chinese are highly represented in the tech and education sectors.
Most of them are CCP members.
China has the advantage in economic terms and will want to keep the contest primarily on the economic front as it can produce almost everything including EVs, cheaper than USA and its any of its allies.
What Darthcoin does not seem to realise is the relative freedoms of citizens of the west is based upon the historical military and economic dominance of the west.
His hatred for statism belies his ignorance about how the real world operates.
It is and always has been a contest between groups of humans for wealth and resources.
That contest is today between the USA and China.

Love this description.
It's not about cutting government spending. It's about cutting government spending that does not align with his ideals.
I sometimes wonder how many here who criticise social welfare are true to their words and refuse any such care when available/given to them.

A new set of elites is not so silently making changes. Some will be good and others bad. Power has been in the hands of the elites for longer than I've had breath.
The "cuts" that the left is crying about will be replaced with massive military spending increases. Public / private partnerships. Personally I'm not black pilled... read to much history for that. I think many Trump fan boys have vastly misunderstood what is going on though... but they didn't get it before Trump either. Few do...

Absolutely correct prognosis. And the first step was Twitter, to manipulate public opinion.

I don't know where he got the notion that forcing porn gooner content down the people's throat will make them easily manipulable because it worked, excellently.
Now this would open a very broad conversation on pornography.

Beautiful non-partisan piece. The author is smart enough to draw examples from both sides to make his point.
