Hello Stackers!

It's Monday so we're back doing "Meta Music Mondays" 😉.

From before the territory existed there was just one post a week in a ~meta take over. Now each month we have a different theme and bring music from that theme.

Welcome to Femmes Fatales 3!!!

I absolutely loved doing this last year so I'm bringing it back for round 3!

It's Femmes Fatales, where we celebrate women in ~Music. So let's have those ladies of the lung, the sirens of sound, our Femmes Fatales!

I recently got introduced to these ladies. Their music is fantastic, they're really talented musicians. They are:

Lilith: The vocalist. Lamia: The lead guitarist. Nixe: The bassist. Abrahel: The drummer.

Their identity is meant to be a mystery, so let's keep it that way.

Wow! What an awesome voice, so much soul and a fantastic guitarist. This track has so much energy and is so vibrant. Love it.

That's not the Lorde im used to (Finnish metal band) but her voice is great! And her tracks are really easy to listen to.

I've only recently stumbled across these guys after listening to bands like wardruna and heilung. Her voice is insane, so much control, I'd pick up my axe and stand in a shield wall beside her any day.

Hey @siggy47, it occurred to me that you may dig my old boss Shaun Booker. I got some crazy road stories from those days (2006-2009, one of my first road gigs). Anyway, looks like she finally just recorded this great original of hers.

Damn! You aren't kidding. I just listened to a bit of grillin time. She has a fantastic voice, and the band sounds great. Are you in any of the videos? I'm intrigued.

Nope, I haven't made music with her in decades. ...actually just found that website after posting that video of "I am a Wipeout". The only person in the band from my era that's on that website is Dwayne (drummer), and they were definitely not doing anything together when I last spoke with either of them, so I'll probably be making some catching up phone calls this week.

I'm sure I have some vids of the version of the band I was in somewhere in my old files, but that was definitely before the era of everybody recording everything all the time.

Really good fun, I do like the accent in her voice it's really nice and plays into the genre so very well.
