It's so early! I'm your host, @realBitcoinDog, founder of the ~HealthAndFitness Territory, and today is Valentine's Day! As health and fitness junkies, how do we do it? How do we handle the traditional Valentine's Day tropes and traditions? How do we avoid the mines and pitfalls? I got all your answers right here. So, first of all, the flowers. This is a slam dunk
Buy some flowers. Easy. How many calories does it cost to smell these beautiful, delicious flowers? Nothing. It costs you nothing. Enjoy the flowers.
Should you get one of these edible bouquets? These fruit bouquets or something? That depends on who your valentine is. I will say, of course, there's always skepticism. Are you getting the freshest fruits, the freshest cuts of fruits in your edible bouquet, or is it just the kind of fruit that will shape well for the sake of your valentine? Who cares? Ultimately, it's about if your valentine loves that gesture. Someone who's into health, into fitness, and is going to appreciate a valentine of an edible bouquet of fruit instead of chocolate. And sure, it's carbs, but at least it's a bunch of melon, right?
Chocolate. Are you going to get chocolate? Are you going to get the gold heart-shaped box of Godiva chocolate for your valentine? That depends, too. I'm finding nowadays most don't appreciate that gesture. They feel a burden. It's an onus on them. They have to eat the gold box of Godiva chocolates because you got it for them, or it leads to a fight later down the road because you know you don't have discipline. You're @Undisciplined. You're waiting for your fast period to end, and you will gobble, gobble, gobble all those chocolates. You'll wait a couple days. You'll wait a little bit, but if your valentine is not eating those chocolates, you'll eat them, which is ultimately a trap because they were her chocolates, and you ate them even if she wasn't eating them. So I find if it's your first valentine's day together, go for the stereotype, the gold heart-shaped box of Godiva chocolates, but otherwise, steer away.
What about the middle ground? Chocolate-covered strawberries for your valentine. Are they healthier because they're strawberries? Oh, but these aren't just any chocolate-dipped strawberries. These are big, plump, juicy chocolate strawberries with white chocolate drizzle all over them. Kind of a middle ground, wouldn't you say? Look, let's be honest. If you just want guilty pleasure for valentine's day with some deluxe chocolate-dipped strawberries, go for it, but this is health and fitness. Let's take it to the next level. Set the mood. If you're gonna go this route, buy some chocolate dip, some milk chocolate dip, and buy a box of fresh strawberries, and let it be the two of you working together to dip those strawberries in that milk chocolate. I'll let your imagination run wild on how this can take your valentine's day night to the next level. Who knows? Maybe there'll be some fitness involved after all.
Those are all my tips for health and fitness for valentine's day. Plenty of ways to celebrate without food, especially no need to be a glutton and go to a valentine's day dinner or meal where you feel compelled to have to order dessert. You can cook a healthy, romantic meal right at home.
Again, unless it's the first valentine's day, then you better take your valentine to a fancy restaurant. All right, that's it for me today. Happy valentine's day. It's so early.
