I'm not sure how much of it is these old politicians trusting too much young crypto scammers, versus actually wanting to run a scam.

This is so bad. The damage that these coins can do to the reputations of world leaders is overwhelming. How do these people expect to gain the trust and confidence of their citizens? They will simply drive their countries back into socialism. You can't write it off as ignorance, either. It's pure greed.
